Experience: Candidates with prior experience in substance abuse is (are) preferred, and knowledge about addiction, treatment, and the holistic approach is a plus.
Provide a range of care to clients/patients receiving drug and alcohol treatment. The client/patient population is for male adults, and is an at-will facility. Works collaboratively with all members of the treatment team including the patient(s) and staff. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a self-motivator who shares a compassion for drug and alcohol addiction and the treatment of the disease.
A vital component to the team and the job functions vary
Must pass drug test/urinalysis
Must pass a Tuberculosis screening (TB test).
Must have or have the capability to obtain a security clearance card.
Successful candidate will receive a post-offer, pre-employment background screening to include (or job offer contingent upon successful completion/passing of):
Drug screening, Motor vehicle records check, Criminal background screening
Physical/Emotional Health Requirements:
Must be without physical or emotional limitations that would impair ability to fulfill the functions of the position.The work environment is of residential behavioral health treatment services. Must be able to stand, sit, and travel to all areas of the facility and meetings as necessary; as well as read, write, and comprehend the English language.
