Keep everything in perspective

13

Here’s the thing: if you’ve made even the slightest bit of progress in your recovery, the truth is you’ve come a long way. If you’ve admitted you have a problem, you’ve come a long way. If you’ve enrolled in a treatment program, you’ve come a long way. If you’ve started the process of repairing relationships that were harmed by your addiction, you’ve come a long way. Focus on that. You may still have a ways to go, but be proud of the long way you’ve come.
