In recovery, not every day is rosy. You’re likely to have more and more rosy days the further along you get in the process, but remember: you’re not expected to make huge leaps from one day to the next. Small steps to change your bad habits and your harmful thought processes will build on one another. So, keep planting those seeds, and your happiness will continue to grow a little bit each day.
