Volunteer Work

Reintegrating into the Community

What sets Prescott House apart from other programs is the involvement individuals have in our community during their recovery. This allows the tools learned to be used during this time and for each individual to bring up any experiences, good and/or bad, during group for feedback, further evolving the recovery process.

DAV – Disabled American Veterans “Trift Store”

The Prescott DAV Chapter 16 is a great way for individuals to get involved, communicate and learn life skills. The processing of donations requires self-motivation, organization, communication and light fitnees to be successful. These activities are all intricate to the recovery proces. The misspelled “TRIFT STORE” is a tribute to a disabled vet, M. Seidel’s spelling error which was painted prior to his passing of a brain tumor.
