Dr. Shaan Bhojwani

Dr. Bhojwani is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician who continues to provide inpatient medical care as an adult medicine hospitalist. After graduating medical school from the George Washington University School of Medicine, he spent 6 years serving as a physician in the United States Navy.

He then completed his internal medicine residency training at the University of Virginia. The following 10+ years he was a practicing physician and part of the Yale New Haven Health System.

Currently, he serves as a Medical Director at a major health plan carrier as well as spending his clinical time purely as an academic/teaching hospitalist.

Dr. Bhojwani is passionate about providing direct patient care to those struggling with addiction. He enjoys the opportunity to assist with the education on the neuroscience of addiction, the brain dysfunction, neurochemical imbalances which occur during active addiction, and enjoys providing peer support during the recovery process.
