Colten Curtis, LAC, Associate Certified Sex Addiction Therapist

Licensed Associate Counselor & Prescott House Alumnus

With over 18 years of personal recovery, Colten Curtis brings a uniquely powerful perspective to the clinical team at Prescott House. As a proud alumnus of the program himself, Colten doesn’t just understand the clinical mechanics of addiction—he knows exactly what it feels like to walk through the doors, do the hard work, and rebuild a life from the ground up.

Colten’s professional journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the Prescott House brotherhood. After completing the program, he worked his way up through the organization from the ground floor. He spent years managing the medical room, eventually returning to school to earn his counseling degree while working full-time.

Today, as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and an Associate Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, Colten provides specialized, empathetic care for men battling substance abuse, intimacy disorders, and compulsive behaviors.

Clinical Style & Connection
Colten’s greatest therapeutic asset is his authenticity. Because he has lived through the recovery process, clients quickly realize they cannot "BS" him, but they also know they will never be judged by him. He possesses a rare ability to bridge the generational gap—whether he is working with a young adult navigating the chaos of early recovery or an older executive facing a mid-life crisis, Colten builds deep, unshakable trust.

When he is not helping men navigate the challenging work of recovery, Colten can usually be found out on the water pursuing his passion for fishing—a hobby that keeps him grounded, patient, and connected to the outdoors.
