Clinical Director

Jeff Martin, MEd, MA, LPC, CSAT-S, CCBRT-C, ICGC-I

Clinical Specialist in Process Addictions & Trauma

With over two decades of dedicated experience in the behavioral health and addiction field, Jeff Martin is a cornerstone of the Prescott House clinical team. As an alumnus of the program himself, Jeff combines specialized clinical training with the lived experience of walking the same path as the men he treats. Having served as a primary therapist, Jeff brings a steadfast and deeply individualized approach to men's recovery.

Jeff's clinical work bridges traditional substance use disorders and complex process addictions. He holds advanced clinical certifications in two distinct, yet often overlapping, fields of treatment:

Expertise in Intimacy, Sex Addiction, and Betrayal Trauma
Jeff is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist – Supervisor (CSAT-S), a designation that qualifies him not only to treat intimacy disorders but to supervise and train other therapists in the field. Jeff specializes in helping high-functioning men dismantle the destructive cycles of compulsive sexual behavior and pornography addiction, while providing a framework to heal the profound betrayal trauma experienced by their partners and families.

Specialization in Gambling and Sports Betting
As an Internationally Certified Gambling Counselor (ICGC-I), Jeff is equipped to treat the modern landscape of gambling addiction. Where standard rehab programs often misunderstand the mechanics of gambling, Jeff provides targeted, evidence-based therapy for men caught in the cycles of daily fantasy sports, mobile app betting, and traditional casino gambling.

Clinical Approach
Known for his grounded, no-nonsense clinical style, Jeff focuses on what works for the individual. He understands that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work for men managing complex behaviors. Drawing on his dual master's degrees (MEd and MA) and his licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Jeff ensures that every man's treatment plan addresses not just the behavior, but the underlying mental health and trauma driving it.
