Real recovery takes time. Come talk long-term care with us.
If you're a clinician, interventionist, therapist, or EAP professional heading to Palm Springs this May, we'd love a few minutes of your time. Prescott House will be on the exhibit floor all three days, and we're there for one reason: to connect with referral partners who want a placement they can trust.
Why Long-Term Care Is Worth the Conversation
The field moves fast, and 30-day placements are often the default. We understand why. They're familiar, insurable, and easy to explain. But for a meaningful percentage of the men you're working with, 30 days isn't enough. The research has said this for years. Clinicians who refer to us know it from experience.
Prescott House has operated a long-term model for men since 1988. Not long-term as a marketing phrase. Long-term as a clinical commitment, built into how we staff, how we structure programming, and how we think about outcomes. We operate on a Florida-style outpatient-with-housing model, which gives men the structure of a supervised environment without calling it something it isn't.
The difference between a 30-day stay and real recovery isn't willpower. It's time, structure, and a community that keeps showing up.

What We Treat
Prescott House specializes in men's addiction and mental health treatment across a range of presentations, including many the standard system isn't built to handle well.
- Alcohol and Substance
- Gambling Addiction
- Sex and Intimacy Disorders
- Mental Health and Trauma
- Dual Diagnosis
- Pornography Addiction
A significant portion of our population presents with co-occurring gambling or sex addiction alongside substance use. These are clients who cycle through programs designed for one problem and return because the others were never addressed. Our model is built for that complexity.
A Staff That Knows the Work from Both Sides
Something that doesn't show up in a brochure but matters to clinicians who've worked with us: a large portion of our staff, from admissions all the way through clinical leadership, are alumni of the program. They came through Prescott House before they came to work here. That's not a talking point. It shapes the culture of the place in ways that are hard to replicate.
It means that when a client arrives scared and resistant, the people in the room with him have been in that chair. When a clinician refers someone, they're sending him into an environment where the people helping him have actually walked the path.
Who to Find at WCS 2026

Jon Landis, Director of Admissions and Business Development, will be on the exhibit floor all three days. He came to Prescott House as a client before joining the staff, which makes him the right person to have this conversation. He can speak to the admissions process, the clinical model, and what referral partners actually experience when they place someone with us.
