Thank You, Shared Grounds: Prescott House Featured and Joining as a Sponsor

Prescott House was the first featured program at Shared Grounds, a coffee-and-conversation networking morning for behavioral health providers from Northern Arizona and Phoenix. We are also joining the series as a sponsor.

On Thursday, September 24, behavioral health providers from across Northern Arizona and the Phoenix area packed into The Porch in downtown Prescott for Shared Grounds. Prescott House was the featured program, the first one in the series, and we want to say thank you to everyone who showed up.

What Shared Grounds is

Shared Grounds is a recurring networking morning for people who work in treatment and recovery. There are no panels and no slide decks. It is coffee and conversation, and each gathering spotlights one program so the people in the room get to know who they are referring to.

That format matters. Good referrals come from knowing the people on the other end of the phone. When a clinician in Phoenix or Flagstaff is sitting with a man who needs long-term care, it helps to have already shaken hands with someone from the program they are about to recommend.

How the morning went

It was a full room and a lot of networking. Providers from Northern Arizona and down in the Valley spent the morning trading notes on what their programs do well, who they serve, and where the gaps are. Our team, led by Jon Landis from admissions, talked with people about our long-term residential program for men and how we work with referral partners before, during, and after a stay.

The sponsors also each got up and spoke about their programs, which gave everyone a clear picture of the care available across the region.

Prescott House is joining as a sponsor

During the morning, Prescott House was introduced as the newest Shared Grounds sponsor. We are glad to be part of it. Events like this are how a regional provider community gets stronger, and we would rather help build that than just show up to it.

Thank you

Thank you to Horizon Recovery for organizing Shared Grounds, and to our fellow sponsors: Acadia Healthcare, AMFM Healthcare, Back2Basics, Wolf Creek Recovery, Holdfast Recovery, and AnchorPoint. And thank you to every provider who came out, asked good questions, and made time for a conversation on a Thursday morning.

We will see you at the next one.
