![]() Dayton TurbervilleMED, LISAC, CSAT, CMATDayton Turberville is a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor in the state of Arizona, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and a Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist. He received his Master of Education with an emphasis in Counseling & Human Relations from Northern Arizona University. Dayton has worked in the fields of addiction and behavioral health since 1999, including clinical and administrative roles in public and private agencies. Prior to becoming Executive Director of Prescott House, Dayton served as our Clinical Director, as well as primary and adjunct therapist. His dedication to the mission of Prescott House and a strong commitment to the clients’ success are indispensable to the overall effectiveness of the program. Dayton’s door is always open to both staff and clients. |

Medical DirectorDr. Terry A. VaughanMDDr. Vaughan is a Psychiatrist with the philosophy of treating each patient as an individual according to the patient’s individual needs. A graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine, she is a respected and experienced in the mental health community with over 25 years of experience through West Yavapai Guidance Clinic and Psychiatric Services of Prescott. |
Clinical DirectorJeff MartinMEd, MA, LPC, CSATJeff Martin leads our clinical group with his experience, training, and wisdom gleaned from his 20 years in the field of addiction. He closely oversees the daily operations of the clinical staff and works to ensure that the individual treatment needs of each client are realized throughout the client’s progression in the Prescott House program. Prior to becoming Clinical Director at Prescott House in 2010, Jeff held the position of primary therapist in the residential phase of our program for several years. The therapeutic insight, professionalism, and objectivity that Jeff demonstrates, helps guide the clinicians and clients alike. Jeff received his Master of Education from Northern Arizona University. |
![]() Lincoln SperryLCSW, CSATLincoln earned his BA in English at University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He later earned his Master of Social Work at Arizona State University, with a clinical concentration and internships at Sonora Behavioral Health hospital and Arizona Children Association’s Tucson outpatient clinic. Lincoln completed his intensive Certified Sex Addiction Training with Dr. Patrick Carnes in 2010. He worked for several years as a residential supervisor for an outpatient program in Tucson serving severely mentally ill clients. His areas of special expertise include sexual compulsivity and addictions – particularly with co-morbid psychiatric disorders, and men with eating disorders. Primary TherapistDoug WinterMS, LISAC, CSATDoug holds a Masters Degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University and has been a member of the Prescott House team since 2010. He specializes in treating sexual addiction, eating disorders and co-occurring disorders. Doug has served in a variety of roles at Prescott House including Aftercare Therapist and Eating Disorders Program Coordinator. Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and children. |
Primary TherapistPaul SwartMS, LAC, ASATPaul has been part of the Prescott House team since 2013. After an extensive career in engineering, Paul found a new passion in life helping others recover from addiction. Paul’s life experiences help in assisting clients transition from a treatment environment to living on their own and moving forward with their life. Outside of work, Paul enjoys hiking, camping, visiting national parks, and reading. |
Primary TherapistChris SobelMS, Substance Abuse CounselorChris earned his Master’s Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from Grand Canyon University. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University (Summa Cum Laude) and has worked at Prescott House since 2005. He has been an active member in the recovery community in Prescott since 2002. In his work with each client, he brings forthrightness, inspiring life experience, and a commitment to helping men recover from addiction and addiction related issues. Chris has many passions including golf, softball, NY Mets baseball, Sun Devil Football and – most importantly – spending time with his wife and two daughters. |

Therapist & CounselorMordy GottliebLMSW, CASAC-TBorn and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Mordy brings his passion and dedication to addiction recovery, treatment, and healing. “I’m straightforward, honest, and compassionate”. Mordy earned his Masters of Social Work degree from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, graduating Magna Cumme Laude with Phi Alpha honors. Currently, a CASAC-T, Mordy’s education and experience around ethical issues in treatment, case management, and intervention procedures, makes him a vital member of Prescott House. Before coming to Prescott, Mordy worked closely with clients of different backgrounds and faiths at a medical center in the Bronx. His own experience has helped him navigate, be open to, and learn about different cultural landscapes. Mordy is committed to the culturally diverse needs of all clients and works towards diversity inclusion during the recovery process. |
Family TherapistBarbara RyeMA, LPC, LISACBarbara has worked in the field of addictions and mental health for 30 years. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, she has experience in inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient and private practice settings. She has provided clinical consultation, training and direct services for various entities including schools and universities, emergency responders, treatment centers and tribal agencies. Though her philosophy of care is eclectic, it is rooted in the genuine belief that all individuals have dignity and an inner wisdom which facilitates healing and growth. |

Case ManagerRobert PierretBHT CounselorOriginally from Palo Alto, California, Robert discovered a passion for helping fellow addicts while in treatment at The Prescott House. This passion has now translated into a clear career path for him. Robert is our Case Manager, as well as a facilitator of process therapy groups here at the Prescott House. Robert is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (BA/BS) at Prescott College and plans to pursue his masters in Clinical Psychology. Robert is happily married and has set down roots in Prescott. He and his wife Kylee have a 2 year old daughter named Ellie and another baby on the way. |
Case ManagerSteve PopeBHT CounselorSteve, a US Navy Submarine Service Veteran, served in Vietnam. He is from Stockton, California and has been employed by the Prescott House as a Behavioral Health Technician since November of 2018. Steve was so compelled by the recovery community, support, and treatment from Prescott House, that he eventually relocated to Prescott, Arizona. This decision was to follow his newfound passion, choosing a career of helping others with their addiction. Utilizing his vast knowledge of multiple addictions and emotional issues, he helps others by sharing his experience of addressing these problems himself. His understanding of PTSD and military-related mental health disorders gives him a great perspective in helping others with significant trauma. Steve loves his position at the Prescott House using this opportunity to help others through the recovery process, while on the journey of his own. He also loves giving back to the community by performing musically in and around Prescott the area. |

He has found his passion in helping people recover from addiction and is an active member of the AA community in Prescott. Recently Tim completed his BS in Applied Human Behavior at Northern Arizona University and plans on entering a Master’s Program to further his education. Finding a passion in helping others through their struggles with addiction, Mike began working at the Prescott House in 2016. |
Business Office StaffBrian CarlisleBAAfter being raised in northern farm country, Brian received a BS in agricultural business and pursued a career in agriculture and finance before coming to the Prescott House as a client. Brian’s experience in business allows him to assist the clients with financial education as a part of their preparation to live a solid, sober life. Brian enjoys being outdoors and performing in the local music community |
